Experience the Peak Advantage
At Peak, your introverted student will gain the confidence to speak up. Every student delivers a minimum of six prepared speeches to the school community before graduation.
In a traditional classroom, quiet students can get lost in the crowd. At Peak, our small class sizes and collaborative seating ensure every voice is heard. There’s no back row here, just front-row opportunities.
We’re proud to be ranked among the nation’s best: The Peak School was named a top-tier school in Niche’s 2025 rankings, placing us in the top 20% of all ranked schools nationwide.
In the past five years, The Peak School’s average score on all of the AP exams has been higher than a 3. Colleges will let you skip the equivalent course for scores of 3 and above.
Fun Fact: We had a student (class of 2017) take 23 AP tests over their time at Peak. They ended up receiving 17 5’s, which is the highest score one can receive, five 4’s, and one 3. All passing grades. While this is not the norm, it does show what a Peak student can achieve within our curriculum.
While we don’t “teach to the test,” our students have had success with standardized tests, and our juniors take a test prep class to help them learn how to translate their knowledge into multiple-choice tests such as the SAT and ACT. This elective class is open to 9th and 10th-grade students, as well.
Over the last 3 years, our 9th-grade PSAT average was 956. The statewide average for 9th-grade students is 881. The nationwide average is 851.
Last year, our SAT average across all students was 1185. The nationwide average was 1029. The Colorado average SAT score was 987.

Ideally, all prospective students get to experience The Peak School first-hand as a shadow student for the day. School starts with Base Camp at 8 am, and shadow students attend all regularly scheduled classes, including STEM, history, literature, electives, and foreign language classes. Shadow days are a great way for prospective students to imagine themselves at Peak.
